Named for a small town in south central Virginia, Abilene Motor Express was founded by its current owners Keith and Kolen Jones more 25 years ago in 1986. Since 1989, the company has been offering comprehensive freight brokerage services, and today, Abilene’s fleet of more than 310 late-model tractors and over 1200 air-ride, 53-foot trailers, including over 200 temerature controlled units, provides reliable truckload and volume LTL services throughout North America.
